Howard Park has furthered its footprint in Western Australia by acquiring Forest View vineyard through its long-term partnership with the Radomiljac family who produce Pemberley of Pemberton wines. The purchase of the 48-hectare site gives Howard Park another superb quality fruit resource for its Jeté sparkling wine range, and other wines across the Burch family’s portfolio.
The first-ever Pre-Vintage Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony welcomed newcomers and celebrated the start of the harvest, presented by the Margaret River Wine Association (MRWA) and Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association (MRBTA).
Since 1986 Howard Park have been producing remarkably long-lived Riesling. Recently Wine Club Manager David Stredwick was lucky enough to attend a vertical tasting of sixteen Howard Park Rieslings, hosted by one of our Perth-based members. Reaching back as far as the 1998 vintage, the evening offered an enlightening insight into the evolution of one of our favourite varietals.

We are honoured to announce that Howard Park’s Abercrombie Cabernet Sauvignon has been awarded Three Merits in The Real Review’s Wine Classification of Australia. We are 1 of only 6 Cabernet Sauvignon’s included in this list. Abercrombie is the first wine Howard Park ever made in 1986, and it remains our flagship to this day; representing a winemaking journey underpinned by vision, meticulous viticulture, uncompromising commitment to quality, and excellence in winemaking.
