This month we have enjoyed outstanding recognition for key wines within our portfolio and are proud to share news of our latest award-winning wines.
Gold for Jeté Rosé
Earlier in the month we received a GOLD medal at the National Wine Show in Canberra for Howard Park Jeté Rosé NV.
Now in its 50th year, the National Wine Show is considered the grand final of Australian wine shows. Only wines that have already won medals at qualifying regional and capital city shows are eligible, making this competition one of the most rigorous and respected in the country. A Gold Medal here is no small feat – and places Jeté Rosé NV among the best sparkling wines in Australia. This latest recognition follows the wine’s Trophy win for Best Sparkling Wine at the 2024 Wine Show of Western Australia, and builds on a growing chorus of critical acclaim from Australia’s most trusted wine writers and judges.
In addition to a Gold medal, we were also thrilled to have been awarded a Silver medal for 2022 Howard Park Leston Shiraz.
Gold for our icon wines at an international competition.
Last week we are thrilled to learn that 2022 Howard Park Abercrombie Cabernet and 2023 Howard Park Allingham Chardonnay were awarded Gold medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) in London.
DWWA remains the world’s largest and most influential wine competition. This year, wines from 57 countries were evaluated by 248 top international experts, including 22 Master Sommeliers and 72 Masters of Wine – the most in the competition’s history.
We were also pleased to learn that Howard Park Miamup Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded a Silver medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards. It joins a growing list of honours for the 2023 Miamup Cabernet, including Silver medals at the 2025 Royal Melbourne Wine Awards, the 2024 Wine Show of Western Australia, and the 2024 and 2024 London Wine Competition. Not to mention that Miamup Cabernet has been entered into Decanter World Wine Awards 6 times over the last decade and has won a Silver medal 4 times. Ultimately confirming what many of us have long known: this delicious, ever-popular wine offers exceptional value for money.
Overall this is tremendous recognition, not only for Howard Park but Australian wines in general. At DWWA there were 80 wines shared from Australia, with four of them winning Best in Show — highlighting the quality and consistency of Australian wine across a range of styles and regions.
From Margaret River all the way to the world stage in London, these prestigious accolades shine a spotlight on the quality, consistency and character of our wines.
