Explore the complexities and versatility of this wonderful wine style with our special edition Say Hey to WA Rosé virtual tasting pack.

Experience the rosé renaissance

In general, rosé is extremely drinkable- but it doesn’t stop there. Great rosé expresses a beautiful lightness whilst giving us flavour, texture and nuance. Hopefully by the end of our rosé exploration together, you will get a fuller picture of this delicious drop and its nuances, and maybe even have a few new favourite go-to rosés for this summer.

Here you’ll find everything you need to host your tasting, before settling in to watching the Virtual Guided Tasting led by David Stredwick and Maddy Lyons from our Wine Club, who will take you through the nuanced history, methods, details and flavour profiles of each of the four wines.

The Say hey to WA Rosé pack encompasses a spectrum of varieties and regions, including Grenache, Pinot Noir, and Shiraz, from Margaret River, Swan Valley and Great Southern:

  • Jeté Methode Traditionelle Rosé NV
  • MadFish Rosé 2021
  • Marchand & Burch Rosé 2022
  • Howard Park Miamup Rosé 2022

How to set up your tasting

  • Ensure the wines are chilled. We reccommend your wines be in the fridge for at least 2.5 – 3 hours before serving.
  • Prepare the setting for each guest. Each setting will need: a glass, one of the four scorecards included in your kit for you to judge a favourite rosé for yourself, and a pen for taking notes.
  • Gather your fellow pink wine aficionados.
  • Hit play on the 20 minute guided virtual tasting video below.

“From the classic Provence style to alternative varietal blends and a fresh approach to winemaking techniques – rosé gives our winemakers a chance to get creative. It’s an opportunity to put down the rule
book and craft something intentional and exciting,”

David Stredwick, Wine Club Manager
