2010 Howard Park Sauvignon Blanc Reviews

Soft, smooth and mellow acidity here along with well defined tropical and citrine flavours really make this an easy drinking delicious Summer white wine. It just glides down effortlessly and makes the term easy drinking repeatedly made. From free run juice only, it is a crowd pleaser especially with prawn salad.

Light straw-green; used only free-run juice and a small portion was barrel-fermented; the classy fragrant bouquet leads into an intense and very long palate, the flavours neatly balanced at the midpoint between grassy/pea pod and tropical.

As Australian winemakers gain experience with oak-influenced sauvignon blanc, the wine gets better and better. This WA version has a nutty thread seasoning succulent tropical, citrus and herbal varietal aromas. Everything is in juicy harmony, with a deep, pleasantly layered palate and a tangy signature.
