“Dry, lean and long but lovely, refined, elegant and classy. Enormous length. Two trophies.”
18.7 Points John Jens, Joondalup Weekender - 20-12-2011
“Bright, light quartz-green; a flowery bouquet with hints of orange blossom is followed by an utterly seductive, juicy fruit palate, minerally acidity on the finish and aftertaste tying all the components together.”
95 Points James Halliday, James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion 2012 - 27-07-2011
“'Best of the West'...Very serious style with reserved, flinty/citrusy bouquet showing a lovely scented lift. Very long, very tight, very good, flavoursome slatey palate. Just needs more time to shine.”

“...the Howard Park Riesling 2010, a wine that draws upon both Mount Barker and Great Southern fruit. If you can find a more pure, precise version of the grape in this country, I'd be amazed. What its Porongurup sibling avoids in terms of classic lime blossom frangrance, this has in spades. But it's tight and fine with a length that can be measured in minutes. This is Australian riesling at its best. It's tighter, finer and leaner than most of the Clare or Eden Valley big guns, but no lesser a wine because of it. I'm confident that it will repay a decade or so of patience for those who like their riesling aged...”

“Very delicate and pretty, spicy/floral bouquet that leads onto a dry palate loaded up with racy acid and floral/candied fruit flavours.”
, Winestate Annual 2011 - 25-03-2011 Full Review
“A lively and fragrant Riesling with zesty fresh lime and white-peach aromas - really pure and lively. The palate has taut impact - quite spicy and concentrated with impressive length to boot.”
93 Points Nick Stock, Wine 100 - 01-11-2010 Full Review
