2009 Howard Park Scotsdale Cabernet Sauvignon Reviews

Fractionally brighter colour than Leston, and a more immediately fragrant bouquet, with a hint of leaf and olive behind the intense berry fruit, the palate likewise more precise and less effusive than Leston. For the classicists.

This light, elegant and long wine showcases understated varietal nuances and wonderfully integrated (and age-worthy) oak tannin.

The 2009 Howard Park Scotsdale Cabernet Sauvignon is glorious...It's clear that Western Australia had a much better time at vintage in 2009 than the eastern states did. This wine is earthen and long, seamless and engrossing. It's not a blockbuster nor imposingly intense, it's class in a glass and there's no denying it.
