“After only a few vintages, the Scotsdale Shiraz has established itself as one of WA?s top examples of the variety. From the cool 2002 vintage in the Great Southern, the wine has spent 18 months in new and one year old oak, and has the fine tannin structure to age well. Michael Kerrigan?s exemplary winemaking is at its best in fashioning this clearly focused, balanced red with lively black pepper and dark plum flavours and superbly integrated spicy oak. With age, its vibrancy will give way to mouth-watering complexity.”
