“The Margaret River shiraz from Howard Park is a densely concentrated youngster full of promise. It smells smoky, ripe and sweetly attractive with loganberry fruit, hints of vanilla bean and spice. In the mouth, it's velvety and intense, yet it has real finesse. The flavour is long and sustained with fine tannins backing it up. A good ageing proposition.”
