MadFish Wines are delighted to be hosting for the seventh consecutive year, screenings of 16 handpicked short films for the national Movie Extra Tropfest 2012 under the stars at the Howard Park & MadFish winery in Margaret River.
The world's largest short film festival and a totally Australian innovation, Movie Extra Tropfest screens on the WA Labour Day long weekend, Saturday 3rd and is repeated on Sunday 4th March at the Margaret River winery.
The manicured lawns of the winery will be open from 6.00pm for guests to enjoy a balmy evening with live music entertainment before experiencing for themselves the thrilling work of Australia's finest young film makers. This year Tropfest celebrates twenty years of the short film festival and the signature item 'light bulb' has conjured up tantalising titles from Australia's up and coming directors.
Films will commence showing at 7.45pm and guests are invited to bring a picnic rug and enjoy live entertainment, a selection of MadFish and Howard Park wines, gourmet hampers and woodfired pizzas prepared by winery chef, Saul Atkinson.
